Csilla Novak
Dr Csilla Novak is a medical practitioner and both a Fellow, and the Queensland representative, of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia. She is a strong advocate for professional and ethical practice in the cosmetic industry.
After graduating from the University of Queensland Medical School in 1987 and working as a General Practitioner for three years, Dr Csilla undertook four years of specialist Dermatology training in Brisbane where she developed her interest in laser and cosmetic medicine.
Dr Csilla has more than twenty five years clinical experience in laser medicine, skin rejuvenation, cosmetic medicine and injectables. Her broad medical knowledge and background in dermatology allows for a thorough understanding and skilful implementation of techniques to improve and refine your skin’s appearance, and to treat sun-damaged skin, aged skin, scars and skin disorders such as acne vulgaris and rosacea.
Dr Csilla continues to further her expertise by participating in advanced training courses, in addition to regularly attending local, national and international workshops and conferences. She is accredited to train other doctors and nurses in injectable techniques and offers her patients the most up-to-date procedures available in Australia.
Dr Csilla only performs treatments that have a proven safety profile and clinical efficacy. She specialises in the advanced use of muscle relaxant injections for wrinkles, headaches and excessive sweating. She uses all brands of non permanent dermal filler and volumiser injections, choosing the best product for a specific purpose.
Dr Csilla has invested in six industry-leading medical lasers including Fraxel, Excel V and Laser Genesis enabling her to treat sun-damaged and aged skin, irregular pigmentation, redness and vascular lesions, scars, superficial lines and wrinkles.
