COVID-19 Update

Given the ever-changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on business, we would like to take you through some of the changes we have made to our day to day practice at Elysium.

We are open!

Elysium Skin Centre is open during our normal hours (10am-6pm, Mon-Fri) for consultations and treatments with Dr Csilla and Nurse Fay.

We are keeping abreast of all Government and health communications, and we have instituted a range of measures in our practice to minimise risk. These may change according to changes in government policy, regulations and advice.

Most importantly, please reschedule your appointment if you or anyone in your household:
⁃ Has been unwell in the past 14 days;
⁃ Has come into contact with a person with known Covid infection in the past 14 days;
⁃ Has returned from interstate or overseas in the past 14 days

We encourage you to download the Australian government COVIDSafe app. This initiative will assist in limiting infection in the community.

Our medical practice is well set up to protect our patients and staff. We are a stand alone, street-front clinic with dedicated private car parking. With more than 300m2 of floor space and no more than 4 patients in the clinic at a time, we have the staff, space, facilities and training to ensure appropriate separation, cleaning and safe treatment.

We have instituted the following additional protocols:

⁃ Screening of all patients before arrival and again at reception.
⁃ Reduction in the number of available appointments and increased spacing between them.
⁃ Video consultations for New Patients.
⁃ Mandatory hand washing /sanitisation on arrival and leaving the clinic.
⁃ Strict distancing of staff and patients.
⁃ Limited waiting in the clinic (or wait in your car).
⁃ Disinfection of common areas between all patients.
⁃ Protective equipment worn during all procedures.
⁃ Disinfection of medical couches and treatment areas between all patients.
⁃ No accompanying children.
⁃ No cash policy (apple pay or card only please).

Treatments with Dr Csilla and Nurse Fay

Dr Csilla and Nurse Fay have resumed the majority of their treatments (including injectables and laser treatments) but with additional safety protocols in place. We apologise if some of these protocols are a little inconvenient.

Treatments are generally limited to no more than 30 minutes. We are not performing oral procedures (including lip fillers) at present.

⁃ Come directly to the clinic from home or work (not via shops)
⁃ Remove your makeup before arrival
⁃ Go to the bathroom before arrival
⁃ Do not bring accompanying children
⁃ Reschedule your appointment if, in the past 14 days, you or anyone in your household has been unwell, you have come into contact with a known Covid-infected person, or you have returned from overseas or interstate.

We reserve the right to reschedule an appointment for any reason.

We have spaced out appointments and waiting in the clinic has been minimised. You can also wait in your car if you prefer and we’ll call you in.

Unfortunately we cannot apply concealing makeup in the clinic after procedures.

Treatments that cannot be performed at present will be scheduled for a later time.

New Patient Consultations and Appointments

New patient consultations will be provided by video / phone consultation. Dr Csilla allocates 45-60 minutes for new patients. In the interest of safety we are currently unable to provide these as face to face consultations.

We are using “GP Consults” as the main platform for video consultations, but can also use Zoom, FaceTime and other methods.

Procedure: You call the clinic (ph: 3214 1400) to arrange a video appointment just like you do for a physical appointment. We will take your details and your mobile phone number and schedule an appointment at a specific time and day. You will receive an SMS the day before to confirm your appointment. Do not attend the clinic for video consultations. At the time of your appointment you will receive an SMS instructing you to follow a link which will connect you to the video consultation. Please be available in a quiet room (and in a suitable state of attire!) for your video consultation. If there are problems with the video process we will revert to a telephone-only consultation. We apologise if there is a little delay, depending on previous consultations and any technical issues.

During the video consultation we will still discuss the usual information with you (your goals and expectations, procedural information, timeframes for recovery, risks and outcomes, costs etc) and take clinical notes.

For a limited time, video consultations with Dr Csilla, Nurse Fay and Whitney are complimentary.

Beauty Therapy and Skincare Clients

Under current Government directions, all beauty therapy treatments have been suspended, however, that doesn’t mean you can’t get advice, purchase products and continue your own beauty treatment plan at home.

Whitney, Jenny and Fay are available for complimentary video and phone consultations and can organise either pickup (takeaway) or postal delivery of your skincare and treatment products.

Whitney has also come up with some fantastic skincare options which will mimic onsite treatment plans. Give the girls a call or arrange a video consultation to discuss.
