What Is The Treatment?
truBody™ contouring combines the following 2 systems:
- TruSculpt™ – A non-invasive treatment that delivers monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy to target unwanted pockets of fat.
- TruFlex™ – A customisable muscle stimulation device featuring multidirectional stimulation (MDS) technology to strengthen, tone and define muscles.

How Does It Work?
truSculpt™
2 MHz monopolar RF energy penetrates to a deep level to treat the subcutaneous fat layer. The RF energy is continuously monitored and adjusted, keeping the skin comfortably heated to 43-45°C, while the subcutaneous fat continues to increase in heat, reaching therapeutic temperatures of ~46-48°C. This heat damages the fat cells which are slowly broken down and eliminated through the lymphatic system over a 12 week period. The final results are seen at 12 weeks post treatment. More than one treatment may be required to achieve your desired results.
truFlex™
truFlex™ is a muscle stimulation device featuring a unique delivery of multidirectional stimulation MDS. This contracts the muscles, increasing strength and enhancing endurance. This device mimics 3 different workouts, ‘preparation’, ‘tone’ and ‘sculpt’ modes, delivering muscle contractions equivalent to 54,000 crunches!

What should I expect during the treatment?
truSulpt™ uses heat via radio-frequency energy to remove unwanted fat cells, which feels like an intense warmth over the treated area. Your practitioner will monitor the temperature of your area of treatment throughout the procedure, making sure you feel comfortable.
truFlex™ uses a sequence of electrical pulses to stimulate muscle strength. You will feel a contraction sensation as the treatment begins, with the intensity slowly increasing to your individual tolerance over the treatment time.
Does truSculpt™ and truFlex™ hurt?
truBody™ is relatively pain free, however you will feel intense warmth to the treatment area with the trusculpt™ treatment.
During your truFlex treatment™ you will feel muscular contractions through the treatment area but without the lactic acid burn usually associated with exercise.
What happens after the treatment?
truBody™ (combined treatment), truSculpt™ + truFlex™, require no recovery time and allows you to immediately return to normal activities.
After your treatment, you may feel some residual heat in the skin which can result in temporary redness. The treatment area may be sensitive, and you may experience slight muscle soreness which will dissipate within 48-72 hours.
How many treatments do I need?
Most patients require 1-2 session of truSculpt™ and 4-6 sessions of truFlex™.
This will be discussed with you during your assessment and customized treatment plan.
You may wish to opt for more treatments or regular treatments to achieve and maintain your desired results.
How long does the treatment take?
One truSculpt™ session takes 15 mins per area to deliver.
One truFlex™ session takes 45 or 15 mins per area to treat.
Your treatment time may increase depending on how many areas you choose to treat.
Are there any side effects?
There are very few risks with the truBody™ treatments.
There may be some redness and slight soreness in the treated area after truSculp™. This should resolve in 1-2 days.
You may experience random muscle contractions or soreness post truFlex™. This is normal and should pass within a few days.
How much does it cost?
The cost will depend on the number of applicators and treatment cycles you require to best achieve your aesthetic goals.
